PHILIP ROSE
Research Interests:
Dr Philip Rose is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Linguistics, Arts. He studies phonetics and phonology, is an expert on tone languages and on Chinese and Chinese dialects, and forensic phonetic speaker identification. He is a former member of Council of the International Phonetic Association, a member of the Forensic Standards Committee of the Australian Speech Science and Technology Association, and of the Research Committee of the National Voice Centre of Australia.
